The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Monday Jun 07, 2021
Monday Jun 07, 2021
Remember the episode featuring Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy where Rob didn't let anyone get a word in? Well, Terry pays him back tenfold today as our first podcast in celebration of Pride Month we look at Terry's favorite movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert starring Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce, and Terence Stamp.
It's "Bizzaro World" as even Hannah even speaks more than Garrett in this episode. You'll definitely want to hear the self-indulgent recasting in this one.

Lord Love A Duck
Monday May 31, 2021
Monday May 31, 2021
Well, it's Hannah "Green Tinted Sixties Mind" Kaufman's movie pick this week so we are heading back to 1966 and the George Axelrod film, Lord Love a Duck, starring Roddy McDowall and Tuesday Weld alongside Ruth Gordon and Harvey Korman.
Have you watched the film? If so you will probably understand why we go completely off the rails this week. It's so bad that not even Garrett can get the train back on the tracks. Terry is so distraught about the film that he has five pages of notes and Robin is the only cast member that isn't censored this week. That's right, we even find a reason to throw some annoying sound effects over something Hannah said. You know she's going to love that.

Without A Paddle
Sunday May 23, 2021
Sunday May 23, 2021
In this episode, the 3CG gang discusses the 2004 film Without A Paddle starring Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, and Dax Shepard with a very special appearance by Rob's all-time favorite man-crush Burt Reynolds.
Terry only has to be censored once during this episode but it's a long censor, Garrett drops his connections to Ethan Suplee, and Abraham Benrubi, because of course, he does, and Hannah threatens actual violence against a member of the 3CG team.

One Crazy Summer
Sunday May 16, 2021
Sunday May 16, 2021
Are we back to John Cusack already? We went from "Say Anything" to the 1986 "Savage" Steve Holland film "One Crazy Summer". There's some debate over just how hot Demi Moore is, and spoiler alert, only one of the four of us are in the "not" category.
Hannah suggests a way to censor some of Terry's more problematic slips with some creative sound effects. It was either that or another "trigger warning" and that would have probably made Rob's head explode.
Garrett is the only one with a lengthy echo chamber this week. You can be the judge if it's lengthy because Garrett is long-winded AF, and likes to hear himself talk or if it would have only been 2 minutes long if not for the 3CGADD gang's constant interruptions.

Say Anything
Sunday May 09, 2021
Sunday May 09, 2021
What happens when we talk about the 1989 Cameron Crowe classic Say Anything and 1/2 of the group doesn't understand the plot? (Looking at you, Hannah and Terry) You get a more scattershot ADD episode than usual, and for this bunch that is really saying something, but clocking in at almost 2 hours should tell you something.
Rob is a little short on quotes this week but the gang still manages to string together a few memorable moments from John Cusack, Ione Skye, John Mahoney, and Lili Taylor who turns in a memorable performance as Corey.
Garrett finally gives us that long-awaited Matthew McConaughey meet cute while our resident stray puppy skipped an episode to go mentor some youth or something. Hannah says that Say Anything without John Mahoney is Pretty In Pink, what's 3CG without Matthew? You are about to find out. Hint: Pretty much the same, we still roast him and you can't hear him defend himself.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Sunday May 02, 2021
Sunday May 02, 2021
Rob has been actively trying to make Hannah's head explode with his movie picks and hasn't been able to do it just yet. Will one of his all-time favorite movies, the 2004 insta-classic, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy do the trick? Or will it be Terry that is offended by some "low hanging fruit"? Garrett postpones his Matthew McConaughey meet cute this week to instead tell his meet cute with Adam McKay and how the term "Adam McKayed" entered his acting lexicon.
One thing is for sure when a movie has Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell freestyling Rob will have plenty of quotes.
If we are being honest... We pretty much only talk in quotes during this episode.

The Pink Panther
Sunday Apr 25, 2021
Sunday Apr 25, 2021
We continue our month of fools with Hannah's pick for April, the 1963 classic, The Pink Panther starring David Niven,Peter Sellers, Robert Wagner, and Capucine.
There have to be all kinds of problems with this 1963 film right? I mean that is why Hannah picked this one right? Other than maybe trying to bestow a little culture on Garrett, Terry, and Rob, why else would she? Spoiler alert: They are still not cultured, and may have even hated on the film just a little but could all agree that they have a soft spot for Claudia Cardinale and Fran Jeffries.
Robin has quite possibly the most "woke" recasting of this film, Terry falls asleep during Garrett's history of comedy lesson, and our intern Matthew finds himself on the defensive after Hannah's intro.
We are closing in on our twelfth episode which is eleven longer than anyone expected. Start taking bets now on how much further we make it.

Spies Like Us
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
This week the tcaag gang take a leap back to the middle of The Cold War and the 1985 John Landis directed Spies Like Us starring Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd.
The gang discusses the important things about the movie like what it's like to write a scene where your best friend makes out with your real-life wife or how meta Ronald Reagan's appearance is in the film.
We even work in a Disney Channel reference that doesn't involve Yoda but we mention the little green guy too. Who would everyone recast if they were in charge of casting a reboot? Listen and find out on this episode of 3 Cissies & a Girl!

Naked Gun
Sunday Apr 11, 2021
Sunday Apr 11, 2021
A lot of people call the tcaag gang fools but this is no joke. For April we are kicking off our month of fools in a celebration of farcical comedies with Terry's pick, the king of all inept police comedies, The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!
Written by Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Pat Proft and directed by David Zucker, the movie stars Leslie Nielsen, Priscilla Presley, Ricardo Montalban, and George Kennedy. Don't worry Garrett makes mention of "he who should not be named" as one of the film's other stars and some of the more surreal moments of his appearance on-screen.
Terry was absent for this episode so Rob was on guard to singularly defend against what was sure to be an all-out attack on a beloved comedy classic by the "woke police". There has to be all kind of problems with this movie right? Surely Hannah's head exploded from all the dated jokes and slapstick. Only a listen will tell, oh, and don't call her Shirley.
We know... we know... that quote is from Airplane but without Dr. Rumack is there a Lt. Frank Drebin?

The Piano
Thursday Apr 08, 2021
Thursday Apr 08, 2021
In a departure from their usual lighthearted fare, the boys and Hannah tackle our final movie for Women's History Month, the 1993 film The Piano. The film stars Holly Hunter,Harvey Keitel,Sam Neill, and in her Oscar-winning debut Anna Paquin.
This a heavy film with some serious subject matter so we have included a warning at the beginning of the episode in case anyone wants to skip this one and head on to our less serious films.
Sidebar Nation: We now all have veto power over Terry's film choices.
